Over 100 people attended the LAGIP Conference in Birmingham at the end of February.

The conference started with a presentation from senior management at West Midlands Probation Board. There was then a presentation from NACRO about Sexual Orientation in the Workplace and the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index. Delegates attended workshops covering a wide variety of subjects including Faith and Homophobia, Deaf Awareness, Trans Issues and much more.

The conference ended with the AGM where new officers were elected to the committee.

ILGA Map

ILGA, the worldwide federation campaigning for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex rights has produced an updated map of gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans rights across the globe.

Founded in 1978, the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA) is a federation of more than 600 groups in 90 countries campaigning for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex (LGBTI) rights.
